About The Position

As a Part-Time Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
  • Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
  • Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
