GENERAL OVERVIEW: As the Barista you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks to our guests. Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure an excellent guest experience, maintain a clean and organized work area, and provide outstanding customer service. We are working with a popular coffee brand to represent them and our products in the Atlanta market. ABOUT YOU: You have a passion for food and coffee and possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus. Hotel Operational experience is a plus.. You excel in both verbal and written communication. You are adaptable and willing to meet the demands of a full-time operation.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and coffee beans.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling and processing transactions.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Must possess a Food Handler Safety Training Card

Nice To Haves

A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
Hotel Operational experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty beverages according to standard recipes and specialty recipes you have created.
Ensure that coffee and espresso machines are functioning properly and maintained regularly.
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, and provide personalized recommendations when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee station, dining area, and utensils.
Assist in maintaining the restaurant’s atmosphere by keeping the space clean, inviting, and conducive to a pleasant dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.
Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols.
Attend training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends and techniques.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, resolve any customer complaints, and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
