About The Position

Creative Dining Services is looking for a full-time Barista to join our team at Quantum Health in Dublin, Ohio. The barista maintains operations at the coffee shop while maintaining a positive environment to provide fast, efficient and friendly service - ensuring a quality experience for both our customers and our team members. The barista is responsible for customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.

Requirements

• One year of retail or six (6) months of specialty coffee experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
• Provides service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful manner.
• Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations. Investigates & resolves customer incidents if necessary.
• Runs a register and other devices accurately, following all cash-handling procedures.
• Follows current trends in the coffee business and makes operations suggestions.
