ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment. Serves, welcomes, and greets guests at coffee bar. Promotes positive customer relations; effectively explains menu items, handles guest complaints. Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established standards set by restaurant management. Ensure that production and storage areas are maintained in accordance with city and state health department codes. Promotes positive public/employee relations, always. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Other duties as assigned. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Attend seminars when needed. EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) High School Diploma or equivalent is required, or minimum six (6) months of related experience are required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.): Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and IGB Regulations. Must successfully pass background check. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as well as flexible shifts. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. KNOWLEDGE OF: Must be computer literate. Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations. ABILITY TO: Available to work on different types of events with varying time schedules, on varying days as needed. Must be able to act as a role model and train the entry level peers. Read and comprehend all necessary documentation, training materials and policy information. Communicate courteously, effectively, and professionally with guests and all levels of team members. Use tools and equipment such as radios, computers, and other tools specific to the position. Stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Work within Company established policies/guidelines. Be articulate and possess a professional appearance and demeanor. Be flexible and adaptable to change. Be team-oriented and enjoy working with and assisting people. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear; and taste or smell. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work in a fast-paced environment, with constant exposure to the public and excessive noise. Also, there may be times when you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise. Able to exercise judgment on an independent basis. Requirements
