Requirements

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience as a barista in a specialty or high-end coffee shop is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and manual brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and continuous learning.
• Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Expertly prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based drinks, and other specialty beverages following precise recipes and techniques.
• Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, and presentation.
• Provide an elevated, welcoming experience for guests, guiding them through the menu and offering personalized recommendations.
• Engage with customers to educate them about coffee beans, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
• Maintain a polished and professional demeanor, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and monitoring ingredient freshness.
• Properly operate, clean, and maintain all coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
