About The Position

Barista Creates the Starbucks Experience for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages, products, and maintains a clean and comfortable store environment.
Position Highlights: Located in Winston Salem, NC Day 1 Health Coverage:Choose from either copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work. Requirements

• Previous customer service experience
• Complete training and obtain Barista certification with a score of 90%
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to learn and comply with cash register system and procedures
• Ability to adjust to the needs of the department
• Desire to achieve high customer service standards
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people including employees, nursing staff, managers, and hospital staff

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and coffee of the day to Starbucks standards.
• Prepares all beverages to standard and hands out quality drinks every time.
• Follows policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.
• Follows established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines.
• Maintains a clean work area and immediate surrounding area.
• Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
• Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Star Skills with all customer and partner interactions.
• Follows cash handling and register procedures.
• Follows Customer Service Standards by utilizing upgraded language such as, my pleasure, yes Ma'am/sir, genuine smile and eye contact.
• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
• Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
