About The Position

Barista – Full Time Provides excellent customer service while preparing and serving quality coffee, espresso beverages, and food items in the hospital coffee shop. Handles customer transactions accurately and maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all food safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and food items according to established recipes and standards
• Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service
• Answer questions about menu items and recommend beverages or food items
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Balance cash register and complete shift paperwork
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following food safety regulations
• Follow HACCP food safety guidelines and department procedures
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
• Clean and maintain coffee equipment and notify leadership of any issues
