Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic event day Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you. This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$16.00 and is tip eligible Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until April 10, 2026. About the Venue Santander Arena, located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania, is a versatile venue that serves as the home arena for the Reading Royals, the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers. The Santander Arena has hosted an array of live events including concerts, Disney on Ice, and other family friendly events attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of food safety regulations in the food industry

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
Take customer orders and prepare beverages according to established recipes
Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
Stock supplies and ensure inventory is well-stocked
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
