JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Barista Department: Food & Beverage Supervision Exercised: None Supervision Received: Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred. Hospitality or customer service experience a plus. Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
  • Take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment.
  • Restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency.
  • Engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
