About The Position

The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, other beverages, and select food items to patrons.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent verbal communication
• Ability to follow direction
• Knowledge of food/drink production practices
• Work independently
• Provide excellent customer service
• Move 20 pounds without assistance
• Stand for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Retail and/or production experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea; correctly customizes orders as requested.
• Describes product details to customers.
• Receives and processes customer payments.
• Serves grab and go foods.
• Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
• Stocks supplies or retail products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
