About The Position

Hilton Orlando is looking for a full time Barista to join their team in their Scratch Market! This is the hotel's 24-hour gourmet marketplace that specializes in all things comforting and freshly made: the finest freshly ground Espressos and Coffees and gourmet, whole-leaf teas. SNACK on pastries, sandwiches, pizzas and sides made from scratch in our kitchen daily with the freshest ingredients from local purveyors, cage-free eggs, and responsibly sourced products. Hours: Open Daily; 24 hours The ideal candidate holds 1+ years experience as a barista, 2 years within customer service and prior cashiering experience. Our ideal candidate has a friendly/outgoing approach and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Shift Pattern: Full availability (weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed) Primary shifts between Noon-1am

Responsibilities

Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
Maintains cleanliness of work area/outlet
Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
Requisition, stock and rotate products
Secure and store all beverages, food and other equipment items
Deposit cash drops, secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys
