Primary Objective of Barista Position To provide quality service to customers of the coffee bar
Responsibilities
- Provides quality food and beverage service to customers
- Uses approved suggestive selling techniques to upsell to premium products
- Ensures that the coffee bar area is properly cleaned and well stocked with supplies
- Displays beverage selection in an attractive manner
- Grinding and brewing coffee
- Maintains knowledge of inventory and selection to respond properly to customer questions
- Understands and follows all state laws and guidelines for beverage service
- Maintains proper bar cleanliness
