About The Position
PJ's Coffee in Lutcher, LA is looking for FULL TIME BARISTAS! As a barista at PJ's Coffee, you will be trained to become an expert in crafting quality beverages and food products. Your role will not only involve making these products but also explaining our menu and the ethos behind our brand to ensure that customers have an exciting and enjoyable experience every time they visit. We pride ourselves on being experts in our craft, and it is your responsibility to foster a positive environment for both customers and fellow team members while delivering consistently fast, efficient, and world-class service. Baristas play a crucial role in maintaining PJ's Coffee's reputation and brand. You will be expected to uphold impeccable customer service standards, possess excellent product knowledge, and complete all required training. Adherence to food safety and sanitation policies is essential, as is a demonstrated commitment to the core values and principles of PJ's Coffee of New Orleans. In this role, you will bring your smile to work every day, engage customers in genuine conversation, and create a fun atmosphere that customers will love. You will act as a coffee consultant, answering customer questions and suggesting menu items to enhance their experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing beverages and food to meet PJ's Coffee specifications, completing daily tasks with your team, handling cash with care, and alerting management to any operational needs or equipment failures. Additionally, you will attend training sessions to increase your coffee knowledge and apply that knowledge to your work.
