About The Position
Fuzzy Monkey Coffee Co. LLC, located in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. As a specialty coffee roaster, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and sustainability, sourcing the finest specialty-grade coffee beans to create unique and delightful coffee experiences for our customers. The Barista will play a crucial role in our café, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages with precision and care. This position requires a warm and welcoming demeanor, as you will be the face of our café, greeting customers and providing excellent service. In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista will be responsible for taking orders, operating the cash register, and handling payments. Maintaining a clean and organized café environment is essential, including the bar, seating area, and equipment. You will also assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels to ensure smooth operations. Educating customers about our menu, including different coffee types and brewing methods, is a key aspect of this role, as we aim to enhance our customers' coffee knowledge and appreciation. We are looking for individuals who have a love for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft. While previous experience as a barista or in a café setting is preferred, we are happy to train the right person. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing great customer service are crucial for success in this role.
