About The Position

Join our dynamic team at Nestlé Professional and lead our training agenda for our renowned coffee brands – NESCAFÉ and Buondi. As our Barista Trainer, you will be at the forefront of our training and education initiatives. Your role will involve creating, developing, and delivering captivating training and education content that will leave a lasting impact on our customers and our Nestlé Professional team. Nestlé Professional has a comprehensive product range delivering Culinary Food Service solutions along with Soluble coffee solutions, Liquid and Roast & Ground coffees and leading product brands such as Maggi, Buitoni, Docello, Nescafe, Buondi & Milo.

Requirements

  • Barista certification from accredited training academy
  • Extensive experience with coffee equipment and working knowledge of all forms of coffee and other beverages
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert on Nestlé proprietary coffee machine equipment
  • Coffee sensory knowledge and ability to identify coffee tasting cues
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to new team members and creating the training program of coffee products, equipment and sensory
  • Able to read and speak fluently in English
  • Proven ability to create and deliver high‑impact presentations, including comfort presenting to large groups, decision-makers, and external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and businesses
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Commercial mindset — able to link training outcomes to business results and support the Sales Team in delivering customer value.
  • Able to undertake regular and ongoing travel interstate visiting customers and sales team
  • Full Australian working rights and applicants may be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Sales and Operations teams, you will deliver compelling, well‑structured training that helps customers improve beverage consistency, operational efficiency, and ultimately supports sales growth.
  • You will represent Nestlé Professional confidently in customer presentations, workshops, and events, delivering content that is both educational, commercially impactful and delivers positive brand outcomes.
  • You will also support our marketing team in new product launches, recipe optimisation and customer's presentations.
