About The Position

The Wren is seeking a Barista to join our team in Missoula, Montana. This position is crucial for providing exceptional guest experiences through the preparation and serving of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. The Barista will be responsible for greeting guests, delivering excellent service, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas. The role also involves money handling and following all opening and closing procedures. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service and can effectively communicate with guests.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience in a similar environment strongly preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate
• Basic math skills required for accurate money handling
• Necessary State Food Handler's License(s)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Greet, thank, and deliver excellent guest service
• Describe menu options and be knowledgeable about beverage products to make appropriate recommendations to guests
• Handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment
• Follow all opening and closing procedures
