About The Position

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is seeking a Starbucks Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable guest experiences by handcrafting signature beverages, preparing quick-serve food items, and delivering exceptional service. You'll showcase your passion for coffee, precision, and hospitality in every guest interaction.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• One year of guest service experience.
• Experience in a coffeehouse environment as a barista.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences.
• Describes themselves as detail-oriented.
• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures with Point-of-Sales (POS) system.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
