About The Position
The ideal barista at Nordstrom is a motivated and outgoing individual who is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service every day. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food items consistently, adhering to all recipe standards while delivering exceptional customer service. You will need to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation, as well as the products offered. Additionally, you will assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and handling of food items, ensuring a smooth operation throughout your shift. To thrive in this position, you must possess the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and coworkers. The fast-paced environment requires someone who embraces a flexible schedule and can adapt to the dynamic nature of the job. A food handler's card is required where mandated by local and state regulations, and while 1+ year of experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn are equally important.
