About The Position

As a Market Barista, you will be responsible for a wide range of different tasks in your day-to-day interactions with your customers. You’ll be responsible for making various types of coffee drinks along with food items and not limited to retails options.

Requirements

Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
Must be 18 to operate a golf cart.
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
This role requires operating a golf cart.

Responsibilities

Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and constructive feedback in a polite and efficient manner.
Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings and must be able to make recommendations.
Observe relevant health and safety standards.
Ensure that the opening/closing duties are complete as per protocols of the Market.
Have a thorough knowledge of all the retail items at the store.
Complete any other relevant tasks as requested by the Management.
Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
