Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Barista for 6 months is preferred, but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and serve a variety of specialty coffee, tea, and smoothie beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
  • Continuously brainstorm and develop new beverage offerings or seasonal additions to enhance the guest experience and keep the menu fresh.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service and fostering positive interactions.
  • Offer recommendations, answer questions, and help ensure guests have a memorable experience.
  • Demonstrate a creative outlook in daily tasks, seeking opportunities to innovate and improve beverage offerings and presentation.
  • Stay updated on beverage trends and industry developments to inspire new ideas and concepts.
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment for food and beverage preparation.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and storing ingredients, equipment, and utensils to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, promptly replenishing as needed to avoid shortages and disruptions in service.
  • Keep inventory organized and accessible, facilitating efficient beverage preparation and service.
  • Adhere to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards for all food and beverage items, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including punctuality and regular attendance, to uphold operational excellence and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues, offering support and assistance as needed, and fostering cooperation and camaraderie.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline operations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional service collectively.
