About The Position

Are you someone who takes pleasure interacting with guests to ensure expectations are far exceeded? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, customer service-based environment? If so, you might be the ideal candidate to join Lodge Kohler at its Leaps and Bounds Café! As a Barista you will greet and provide guests with prompt and courteous service that exceeds their expectations. You will assist in the preparation of Café menu items as ordered and according to procedure, assist with breakfast room service orders, and accurately capture all sales and settlements in the cash register. You will handle reconciliation of sales and payments according to standard operating procedure, monitor freshness of food products to meet or exceed quality standards, and be knowledgeable of all Café policies and explain them to members and guests when asked. Additionally, you will enforce café rules and policies, assist in answering the telephone and take messages when necessary, and maintain an orderly, neat appearance of the register areas as well as all other areas of the store. This is a part-time opportunity with shifts primarily being available in the mornings.

Requirements

• A working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and equipment use standards.
• Food service experience along with an understanding of inventory is preferred.
• Learn to Serve on site Certification.
• Bartending license required.
• Ability to lift 15+ pounds.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
