About The Position
Bon Appetit is seeking a full-time Barista to join our team at LinkedIn NY, located at 350 5th Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York, NY. This position is essential for providing high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, as well as related food and beverage items, to our customers. The Barista will be responsible for preparing espresso orders, entering orders accurately into the POS system, and handling cash and charge payments. A friendly and courteous interaction with customers is crucial to ensure their satisfaction and enhance their experience at our café. The Barista will also be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service area, ensuring that all condiments, beverages, and supplies are replenished as needed. Adherence to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations is mandatory, including proper food preparation and presentation. The role requires a thorough understanding of daily menu items, allowing the Barista to effectively communicate and explain them to customers. Additionally, the Barista will serve as an advocate for selling techniques, assisting customers in their decision-making process while ensuring that all display foods are attractively merchandised.
