About The Position

As a Barista at Grand Targhee, you will greet and convey a positive attitude towards all guests that come into Snorkels. Your primary responsibilities will include making and serving guest beverages by following standard recipes, multitasking by taking orders while also preparing beverages, and serving as a Targhee ambassador by engaging with guests at every opportunity. This position is seasonal and can be either full-time or part-time during the winter season.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior barista experience preferred.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and measurements.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Serve resort guests in a timely and courteous manner, demonstrating strong people skills.
• Make all drinks on the menu.
• Receive payment and make change.
• Clean the food/drink preparation area.
• Operate all machines needed to construct beverages.
• Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.
• Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
• Report safety-related accidents and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner to prevent injury.
