About The Position

Villagio Hospitality Group is growing! We're gearing up for the grand opening of Tempo by Hilton - a lifestyle hotel concept designed for the ambitious, modern traveler - and Moonsong Café is at the heart of it all. Moonsong isn’t just a café - it’s where mornings begin, routines are recharged, and guests are met with exceptional service and handcrafted beverages. We’re looking for Baristas / Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team and bring energy, warmth, and hospitality to every cup served. Experience is preferred but HOSPITALITY is required! As a Barista at Moonsong, you’ll do more than make great coffee - you’ll create a warm, inviting environment, support seamless food and beverage service, and help bring the Tempo vision to life.

Requirements

  • A professional, energetic, and positive attitude with a team-first mindset
  • 1+ year of experience in a café, barista, or food & beverage role preferred
  • Familiarity with coffee equipment and basic POS systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and teammates
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for clean, organized workstations and food safety standards
  • Desire to grow, learn, and thrive in a team-oriented setting

Responsibilities

  • Prepare café and dining spaces for service: arrange seating, place settings, and self-serve stations
  • Set up breakfast and display counters, ensuring items are labeled, visually appealing, and temperature safe
  • Stock and restock food and beverage items like pastries, fruit, breads, cereals, coffee, and condiments
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to leadership
  • Greet every guest warmly and guide them through available food and beverage options
  • Answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and dietary needs
  • Serve beverages and light food items; refill coffee or assist with small service needs in lounge areas
  • Notice guest preferences and personalize their experience whenever possible
  • Maintain clean and organized stations at all times, including coffee counters, dining areas, and service zones
  • Follow food safety and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices while replenishing and rotating products
  • Stock and organize china, glassware, cutlery, napkins, condiments, and beverages at start/end of shifts
  • Break down food displays, clean equipment, dispose of waste, and reset for the next service
  • Partner with kitchen, and fellow attendants to ensure smooth, consistent service
  • Communicate guest feedback or service issues to managers promptly
  • Support teammates during high-traffic periods by jumping in where needed
