About The Position

As a Barista & Counter Attendant at Vdara, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area, all while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• One year of guest service experience.
• Experience in a coffeehouse environment as a barista.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately.
• Collect money while following proper cash handling and comp procedures with the Point-of-Sales (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house, including clearing tables and counters.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock them to designated storage, maintaining organization and replenishing products as needed.
