About The Position

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our new private label coffee shop in Cape Coral, FL. The Barista and Cashier will be responsible for serving high-quality espresso-based drinks and a variety of food items while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role offers competitive pay above minimum wage, plus tips, and is intended for long-term employment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience with POS is advantageous.
• Strong ability to learn and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Barista experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all food and drink products according to standard recipes.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Perform basic food preparation tasks as required.
