Working alongside physicians, this role involves conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating patients, collecting and documenting data, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and coordinating laboratory studies and professional consultations for surgical patients. This role is also a key member of the surgical service line team, specializing in the care of post-operative and critically ill patients in hospital settings, as well as pre- and post-operative evaluations in an office setting. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, contributing to research, teaching, and consultation, as well as providing leadership within the organization.
