About The Position
Chief resposibility is to collect and submit reliable data to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Bariatric Data Registry Platform. This task is accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and entry of 100 perfect of bariatric procedures performed at the center in the ACS Bariatric Data Registry Platform. The Coordinator works closely with the members of the bariatric and general surgery departments to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience in health care setting
- Clinical chart review and abstraction experience
- database data entry management experience
- basic statistical knowledge preferred
- general knowledge of office systems and software programs
- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and data bases
- Ability to collaborate with all members of the health care team in a professional and courteous manner
