About The Position

The position at Columbus Regional Health General Surgery (CRHGS) involves providing clinical guidance and education for patients in the Weight Loss program, which includes both surgical and non-surgical options. Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clinical bariatric or weight loss experience preferred.
• Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance and education for patients in the Weight Loss program.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients.
• Collaborate with providers, patients, families, and ASMBS to achieve positive health outcomes.
• Identify and eliminate barriers to care for patients.
• Build professional relationships with patients, families, and local healthcare providers to ensure timely access to care.
