About The Position

Join our team of experienced Bariatric Medicine physicians in a busy outpatient practice at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, as well as Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
• A current PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.
• 2 years experience practicing Obesity Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care including collaboration with Registered Dietitians, Behavioral Health Therapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists.
• Deliver individualized care tailored to each patient with lab evaluations and specific goals.
• Implement meal replacement programs to assist patients in achieving weight loss goals.
• Prescribe medications as needed to support patients' healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
• Offer both in-person and virtual care to patients.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for medical students and residents.
