About The Position

We are seeking licensed Physician Assistant to join our team at MVHS Bariatric Surgery. This is a full time office position to work with our current team of 3 surgeons and Physician Assistants. Work in a 1:1 collaboration with a Physician in the OR and Clinic throughout the week. Responsibilities include office evaluations of patients, peri/post op management, hospital rounds, and surgical first assist. Experienced candidates as well as new graduates will be considered. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
Familiar with EHR/EMR software.
Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
