Requirements

• Barbering License or barber apprentice license (Required)
• Strong background in hair cutting and styling
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in retail math to manage sales transactions effectively
• Strong mentoring abilities to guide less experienced staff members
• Experience in store management practices is a plus
• Excellent upselling skills to promote additional services and products effectively
• Strong retail sales experience to contribute positively to shop performance
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques and tools, including straight razors.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and the overall barbershop environment.
• Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to provide the best service possible.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet retail sales goals.
• Assist in mentoring junior barbers or apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in the field.
• Manage inventory of supplies and products used in the barbershop to ensure availability for services.
