About The Position
The Temple Frederick, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, is seeking a qualified Barbering Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of aspiring barbers by providing them with the necessary technical and guest service skills. As a Barber Instructor, you will be responsible for creating extraordinary learning experiences that not only educate but also motivate and mentor our Future Professionals. Your passion for the beauty industry will be essential in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. In this position, you will utilize your expertise to guide students through their barbering education, ensuring they develop the skills needed to succeed in the industry. You will be expected to implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles, while also maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Your role will involve not just instruction, but also the development of students' soft skills, professional demeanor, and teamwork capabilities, which are crucial for their future careers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in barbering, along with a current Maryland Barbering license. Experience in instructing at a barber school is preferred, but not mandatory. You should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a solid work history with verifiable references. Knowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to connect with students and deliver a curriculum that aligns with our standards.
