About The Position

The Barback is responsible for helping the bartender in the daily operation of the restaurant bar.

Requirements

• In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
• Participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Responsible for stocking all liquor, beer, and wine at the Banquet Bar.
• Adhere to the Restaurant schedule at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas of the bar in an organized manner.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring bartenders are set up for success.
• Replenish all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar during the shift.
• Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and resorts pouring standards.
• Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned.
• Follow resorts protocols on responsible serving.
• Assist with food service if required.
• Report any broken or damaged equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
