About The Position

The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring bars are fully stocked, clean, and well-maintained throughout their shift. This role is essential to maintaining efficient bar operations and delivering excellent guest service. Working in a casino environment with several bars, the Barback must be adaptable, energetic, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred; training provided.
Must be at least 21 years of age (or as required by state/casino regulations).
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Strong work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
Assist bartenders by quickly providing requested items during service.
Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage areas.
Collect, clean, and restock glassware and utensils.
Empty trash and recycling bins as needed.
Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of beverages and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Provide support in preparing garnishes and simple drink ingredients.
Assist in setting up and breaking down multiple bars as required.
Deliver exceptional internal service to bartenders and casino staff to ensure smooth guest service.
