Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins
- Ensure that bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
- Ensure bar is well-stocked with ice, wine, cider, and beer
- Confirm that taps and appliances are working properly
- Changing out kegs
- Maintaining cleanliness of bar and tables by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
- Gain knowledge about menu items and beer styles
- Running food and bussing tables
