About The Position

The Barback at Hard Rock Cafe is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining bar supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves setting up the bar, stocking supplies, and assisting in providing superior guest service while adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of the operation of all bar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento for gaming entertainment.
• Sets up bars for operation, including cutting fruit, stocking ice, and emptying garbage.
• Supports bartender needs and maintains bar stock.
• Reports maintenance problems to the Beverage Manager.
• Works in assigned location and shift according to department needs.
• Maintains par levels and orders bar supplies; delivers orders.
• Sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
• Maintains bar cleanliness in accordance with Health Department standards.
• May work in the capacity of a Bartender as needed by business needs.
• Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Performs work regularly and predictably.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.
