About The Position

The Bar Supervisor at The Pinnacle at Nashville Yards is responsible for supervising the staff and preparation of beverage service to guests in the bar area and event space in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role involves ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Ensures set up assigned bars are accurate; requisitions and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Supervises activities of stocking, preparation: all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Ensures that bars are set-up prior to guest arrival and established presentation and quantities are met.
• Ensures staff is checking for proper identification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
• Works closely with bartenders, staff, and managers and develops a positive rapport with guests.
• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
