About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Bar Porter is responsible for the area relative to supplies, equipment and the removal of empty or soiled articles. Creates a high standard of cleanliness to bar, according to established policies, so guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venue
• Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
• Ensures bar is set properly.
• Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.
• Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift
• Prepares all mixes and garnishes
• Acknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
