About The Position

Key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, managing inventory and purchasing, creating schedules, developing cocktail menus, and optimizing sales. They maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Generally 2–3 years of hands-on, high-volume hospitality experience.
• Deep understanding of beverage trends, cocktails, and inventory management.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications are often required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and security staff.
• Monitor stock levels, order liquor/supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
• Meet revenue goals, manage budgets, control inventory costs, and handle cash reporting.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and local liquor laws.
• Handle complaints, build customer rapport, and maintain the venue's atmosphere.
• Plan, execute, and promote special events or happy hours.
