A LITTLE ABOUT US The San Pedro Square Market, located in the heart of downtown San Jose, is a vibrant public market with over 20 unique vendors made up of retail shops, eateries, and bars. The ultimate meet-up spot, the market features the historic Peralta Adobe open-air plaza, a sidewalk cafe, as well as three interior spaces. Palisades Hospitality Group manages four unique bar concepts located in San Pedro Square Market: Market Bar, Market Beer Co., Three Sisters, and Alma Tequileria. WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A BAR MANAGER + BEER PROGRAM SPECIALIST The Bar Manager/Beer Program Specialist oversees Market and bar staff on table service in assigned stations according to Market service standards and specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assists in the maintenance of the Market and Bars area and equipment. Enforces company's standards, policies and procedures with Market and Bar staff. Schedules and staff based on business needs. Assists in the education and direction of Bartenders and Bar Backs on Bar Program according to restaurant service standards and specifications. The Bar Manager/Beer Program Specialist curates and updates the beer program at all bars utilizing industry trends and a vast knowledge of local breweries and beer styles in coordination with the management team. Motivates Market and Bar staff to maintain a cohesive team. Ascertain Market and Bar staff training needs and provide such training. Ensure security and confidentiality of guest information. Provide guests with excellent experience to ensure satisfaction. ARE YOU THE BAR MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
