Position Overview : As a Barback, you will provide essential support to the bartending team by assisting with the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of the bar area. You will ensure that the bar operates smoothly and efficiently by stocking supplies, replenishing ingredients, and assisting bartenders with various tasks to deliver excellent service to our customers. About Us : In a story of entrepreneurial spirit and partnership, P.C. Amin and his brother-in-law B.N. Shah embarked on a remarkable venture in 1978. They seized an opportunity, purchasing a bankrupt hotel in Lumberton, North Carolina. Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with bartenders, other staff members, and customers.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Stocking Supplies: Assist with stocking the bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies to ensure availability during peak hours.
• Preparation Assistance: Prepare and organize ingredients, such as fruit garnishes, ice, and garnish trays, to facilitate efficient drink preparation by bartenders.
• Glassware Management: Maintain clean and organized glassware, including washing and polishing glasses, and ensuring an adequate supply of clean glassware is available at all times.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and tidy throughout the shift, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and emptying trash bins to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assisting Bartenders: Support bartenders by fetching ingredients, fetching ice, refilling garnishes, and assisting with other tasks to facilitate smooth and efficient service to customers.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive customer service to patrons, greeting them warmly, answering questions about drink selections, and assisting with any special requests or concerns.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, recording consumption, and reporting shortages or discrepancies to management as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling of glassware, safe storage of hazardous materials, and compliance with sanitation standards.
