About The Position

We are seeking experienced bar back to join our team. Our bar backs typically have 1-2 years of bartending/barback experience at a fine dining restaurant. The bar back is responsible for general assistance of the bar staff, including glass-washing, batching, and restocking of beverage products. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, beer cooler and assisting guests as needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year experience working in a high volume and high-end environment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high volume restaurant setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Micros a big plus

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service hours
• Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs
• Clean up spills, organize the counter
• Handle emergency situations, such as cleaning up broken glasses and clearing up clogged drains
