About The Position

Stocks bar with liquor, beer, sodas, juices, ice etc., keeps bar and storage area clean and supplied.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License.
  • Must complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) training for serving alcohol responsibly within three months of being employed and maintain a valid certificate while employed thereafter.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Keep bar and service areas supplied with glasses, ashtrays etc.
  • Maintain stock supplies in bar and lounge.
  • Assisting in keeping the lounge area clean, sanitized and presentable.
  • Clean bar and storage area on a regular schedule.
  • Wash and sanitize bar trays on a regular schedule.
  • Keep bar and service area supplied with ice.
  • Stocks refrigerator units with wines and bottled beer.
  • Replaces empty beer kegs with full ones.
  • Slices and pits fruit used to garnish drinks.
  • Washes glasses, bar, and equipment; and polishes bar fixtures.
  • Mops floors.
  • Removes and appropriately discards empty bottles and trash.
  • Sort and properly dispose of recycling.
  • Mixes and prepares flavors for mixed drinks.
  • Must wear black non-slip shoes or temporary non-slip shoe covers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Creates an atmosphere of FUN for all casino guests.
  • Encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all Team Members, by setting positive examples at all times.
  • Maintains a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
  • To provide a safe work environment for Team Members, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

  • To maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
