About The Position

The Barback will support the Food & Beverage department to ensure the efficient operation of all beverage stations and concessions and maintaining a high level of service in a dynamic and bustling environment throughout the venue during a show or event. This is a seasonal, day-of-show–only role that supports our concert schedule. Work is scheduled exclusively on show days, with typical shift hours from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The concert season runs from April through October, with the first show on April 12th.

Requirements

21 years of age or older
Reliable and punctual
An on-going desire to learn and improve
Able to use a Dollie/hand truck
Good communication skills
Must have flexibility to work an event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to interact and get along with many different types of people
Ability to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully within ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding role
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
Must have a working cell phone and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use it for work purposes
Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces
Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, sun, wind, and precipitation
Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music, noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
Six months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

Stocking and Replenishing:
Manage the inventory and restock bars throughout with alcohol, mixers, garnishes, ice, and other supplies
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Supervisor to ensure timely replenishment
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout walk ins, back of house areas and front of house areas
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all bar equipment is in good working condition
Report any equipment malfunctions of issues to Warehouse Supervisor
Compliance
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of equipment and product
Follow responsible alcohol service practices and comply with local health regulations
