About The Position

As a Barback, you will support the Bartender team. Barbacks ensure bartenders have the supplies they need to provide service to customers. A Barback has many responsibilities that include stocking, restocking and keeping their work area clean. This role pays an hourly wage of $13.85, plus tips.

Requirements

• Experience as a barback preferred
• Minimum age to serve alcohol
• Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, punctual
• Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean glassware, etc.
• Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer etc.
• Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Learning about menu items and cocktail recipes.
