About The Position

The position involves supporting the bartender in various tasks, including preparation work such as cutting and storing fruit, preparing garnishes, and portioning batch cocktails and juices while adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles. The role also requires maintaining cleanliness in the bar area and back-of-house (BOH) staging areas, which includes wiping down surfaces, using sanitizer solutions, and ensuring all glassware is washed and polished. The individual will assist the bar staff in delivering exceptional service to guests.

Requirements

• High School graduate required.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the food & beverage service industry.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• TIPS certification.
• CPR Certification is beneficial.

• Additional language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars with essential products, glassware, and garnishes, ensuring proper rotation of products by date following FIFO.
• Maintain the bars to standard and ensure guests have the best experience possible.
• Perform side work such as cleaning, stocking, and requisitioning supplies.
• Break down bars, conduct a bottle count, and prepare requisition forms for the next day.
• Thoroughly clean the bar top, back bar, and all supplies/bottles to maintain freshness and cleanliness.
• Follow all policies and procedures while striving to improve operational standards.
• Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing requests and complaints effectively.
