About The Position

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of team at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific is North County San Diego's first rooftop dining experience. The menu focuses on Baja-inspired dishes and delicious bites to, plus a full array of craft cocktails with original recipes from our accomplished team of mixologists. The Bar Attendant, also known as Barback, assists lounge and bar operations. The Bar Back provides assistance to bartenders by maintaining the supply levels for glassware, mixers, ice, beverage and other needed supplies. The Bar Back assists with equipment clearing, ware washing, and guest service, as needed. Please note, your job duties may include additional responsibilities depending on business needs, such as rolling silverware, cleaning, etc. This position is Seasonal. The hourly rate for this position is $17.35/hr.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Some previous customer service or food and beverage experience.
• Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight, up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Previous experience as Bar Attendant preferred.
• Ability to take direction from leadership.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, and extend arms on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by maintaining supply levels for glassware, mixers, ice, and beverages.
• Provide assistance with equipment clearing and ware washing.
• Support guest service as needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities such as rolling silverware and cleaning based on business needs.
