Bar Assistant Manager (Partnership with ViceVersa Miami)
About The Position
The Bar Assistant Manager oversees daily service and team leadership at Honey Fitz , the hotel’s all-day lobby lounge, and plays an integral part in our exclusive partnership with ViceVersa Miami , ranked No. 56 on North America’s Best Bars list. Together with renowned mixologist Valentino Longo, our bar program offers a truly elevated beverage experience for our guests and residents. With a passion for hospitality, the Bar Assistant Manager ensures seamless and memorable moments at the bar by anticipating guest needs, inspiring their team, and curating engaging beverage experiences that reflect both the Four Seasons brand and the artistry of our ViceVersa residency. Professionalism, creativity, and a hands-on leadership style are essential in this role.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of bar or beverage leadership experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-profile cocktail bar.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to provide leadership guidance and support for a dynamic team.
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Micros POS and Microsoft Office suite preferred/is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Excellent written/verbal presentation skills. Reading, oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Superior sense of organization and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to be on his/her feet; engaged in the daily operation.
