About The Position

Responsible for proper table set-up, table service for guests, and knowledge of menu to be served. This person will apply all safe food handling principles as they pertain to this position. This person will work with management and team members to instill and foster the value of The Inn's Mission Statement. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of food items, cleaning practices and simple food preparation.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• 1 year food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Set-up food area for service.
• Serve guests and clean plates in a courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and neat work and service area including removal of dishes and breakdown of dining room after service.
• Perform set-up and service for special functions.
• Responsible for set-up of buffets/food areas as listed on Banquet Event Order.
• Knowledge of menu and basic ingredients in food items including allergy awareness.
• Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
